G-Power are putting their impressive tuning skills to work and after the fastest sedan in the world, the BMW M5, they worked their magic on the BMW X5. The results? 525 horsepower and a top speed of 170 mph(275 km/h).
The car’s front apron dominates the face with wide fenders and large air ducts which improve cooling of engine and front brakes and it has a sophisticated shape which reduces aerodynamic lift on the front axle. Typhoon received a rear apron that has two tailpipes made from stainless steel and an interesting rear diffuser. The new rear apron reduces lift on the rear axle together with a rear spoiler that stretches the car’s roofline.
The German tuners have released a new 525 hp package for the X5 - the G-Power BMW X5 Typhoon. The G-Power BMW X5 Typhoon is powered by a 4.8-liter V8 supercharged engine that delivers 525-hp / 386-kW at 6,100 rpm and 600 Nm of torque at 5,300 rpm. With this modified engine, the G-Power BMW X5 Typhoon is able to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and up to a top speed of 275 km/h. To get the extra power the G-Power BMW X5 Typhoon is fitted with a two-piece carbon-fiber intake manifold with large free-flow cross sections, an aluminum intercooler and a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust.
Typhoon rocker panels feature five blue LED lights each, which are activated by the keyless fob or when pulling the door handle. G-Power Typhoon rides on 23-inch wheels, tires come in size 315/25.
The TYPHOON cockpit can be upgraded with exclusive accessories such as an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel, a TYPHOON-design speedometer and a number of sporty aluminum accessories. Requests for an even more customized interior can be fulfilled with exclusive leather and Alcantara interiors in any color imaginable.
